Calling All Artists, Curators, Writers

Applications are open for artists, curators and writers based in Tokyo. The initiative favors postgraduates working within the artistic field; master students may also apply. Basic understanding of English is mandatory, international exchange is welcomed.

What We Do

The programme will focus on group discussions at alternating studio visits. We will discuss works, essays and exhibitions. The programme is also open for film screenings and perhaps guest lectures. Bluelinkblue can be the starting point for joint exhibitions and publications, nevertheless the primary focus will be put on studio visits. Meetings will take place bi-weekly in Tokyo.

Current Members

This term will be bluelinkblue’s first term allowing high flexibility and dynamic working processes. The programme will be shaped and refined by its members throughout the term, keeping its loose boundaries. This term 12 members will be accepted. The deadline for application is the 15th of April 2025. Next term, members will be selected by members of the previous year. bluelinkblue does not provide joint spaces nor financial aid. bluelinkblue is a non-profit initiative, with no charges or fees involved.
